Have Helmet, Have Goggles, Will Ride

 

We stopped at the strawberry stand to get fresh berries and saw this cool doggie at the gas station next door. The Springer Spaniel and his master were on a motorcycle road trip. It seems he has only owned the dog for a short time, but they are always together and the dog instantly took to the ride-a-long life style

I've seldom seen such a cool, calm and collected dog. There was no wiggling and "let me out of here" activity. No sniffing or begging for treats. No sign of, "stay away from me... this is my space" behavior. Just one cool dude. Happy trails to them! 

Patsy's Delight

Patsy's days are numbered... she is old and blind. We love her dearly and so does our mail lady. Patsy can hear the mail truck coming and when we are out side she heads toward the mailbox. It's a slow process as she makes her way, bumping into trees and wondering off the path. If the mail lady sees her coming she will wait and give her a treat through the fence. If we aren't outside she always leaves a treat in the box.

We found this note the other day along with our mail. Isn't it sweet? I think all the animals on her route must help take the boredom out of her job. I know it is the highlight of Patsy's day!

Just Resting

Sweet little Patsy spends more and more time just sleeping.
